BK Žabiny Brno — green and orange

BK Žabiny Brno are one of the most successful women's basketball clubs in Czech league history — 14 national championship titles and a EuroLeague winner. Their identity is clear: frog, green, orange. The socks had to carry that identity precisely.

Brief

Club socks for the entire squad. Three requirements:

• Frog logo — knitted in jacquard directly into the sock body. No print, no patch.
• Club colours — white base, dark green cuff, heel and toe. Orange in the logo.
• Durability — basketball is a dynamic sport, the sock must survive a season of intensive training.

What we did

The frog-with-basketball logo arrived as a vector and we translated it into a jacquard pattern. The dark green on the cuff, heel and toe matches the club identity exactly — not "similar green" but the Žabovřesky green.

Sock construction:

• Cotton 75 % (Italian, long fibre) — baseline comfort through a full training session
• Polyamide 20 % in heel and toe — reinforcement where basketball wears hardest
• Elastane 5 % in the cuff — compression keeps the sock in place in basketball shoes
• Length: over-ankle sport
• Logo: jacquard, knitted into the sock body

Why jacquard, not print

A basketball club carries its logo season after season. Sublimation print fades with intensive washing — especially where the fabric flexes (cuff, calf). Jacquard is part of the sock's structure: the frog is there as long as the sock exists.

Process

1. Day 1–2 — inquiry, vector logo, colours agreed.
2. Day 3–5 — pattern visualisation, approval.
3. Day 6–18 — production, every unit inspected, paired.
4. Day 19–21 — dispatch, squad delivery.

Result
